On another note, a college student (American) doing his thesis was arrested in Egypt when they attempted to cover a massing of people for a rally. The rally was about food prices and scarcity where a riot had taken place a couple of weeks back. While he and his interpreter were in the vehicle, he took out his cell phone and made a one word post to his Twitter account: Arrested. This immediately alerted his community and the "tweet" quickly spread even in Egypt. He was released after 24 hours. His Twitter account and friends had him covered and monitored. He may have been saved from disappearing. He is campaigning for his interpreter who remains locked up and had been transferred to an unknown location.
