Hi All,
Well, it's been an exciting week since I last posted. I have spent so much time installing all sorts of programs and testing systems that I want to use to build my website.
I have finally settled on using Joomla instead of Wordpress. It's all set up on my StartLogic hosting account. I just needed to install it from there. It's quite an excellent content management system but I'm still getting my head around it.
Well I bet you are wondering how BuyRefs and Bloggit are progressing??
To be honest they are going quite well! BuyRefs not only has directed traffic to my site (I can see in my statistics what those 3 main referring sites are) but they have provided for 2 sales today of the Renegade System after people had downloaded the free ebook they were being directed to.
For this site, BecsLife.Biz, I ordered 10,000 hits. Out of the 10,000 hits that I directed to the site about 2 weeks ago, just over 7000 have been sent. It seems to be about accurate with my google and shinystat stats. I am really not sure that they are people who would be interested in my site, so I don't think I'll buy that type of package again for this site. I would rather have qualified readers.
On the other hand, I bought 100 signups for a free ebook that I am an affiliate of (through buying the Renegade System) and so far about 70 people have signed up to receive it. From those 70 people, two people have bought the Renegade System!! Wow what a result!
Sounds good! But not enough for me yet!
Bloggit hasn't been doing nearly as well. I have only made 16 cents since I signed up 2 weeks ago. Obviously I must get a much bigger readership. So I need to work on posting a few more entries more often.
