We all want a bit of extra cash from our blogs don't we? Well, I just found out about the Money Magnet through a newsletter I receive. I thought it sounded pretty cool and I just had to get one for myself and try it out! These days there are so many new ideas coming out all the time. I definitely don't try all of them, but this sounded fun!

It's an interesting concept. You can see the widget I've just added to the sidebar. It shows the total amount I've earned so far, the total amount made through the network and the last person who sold one.

You can sign up for widgets of different monetary amounts and they are all different colours. I went with the cheapest of $10 for now, I don't want to press my luck! I will try it out at $10 for a while and see how it goes. I think it's a new idea with a great concept and quite cheap to start out! The amounts you can buy and sell are in the table below. Might look a bit confusing at first, but you'll see what I mean.

Basically what happens when someone clicks on your widget and gets their own, you get to keep half of the sale price and it is deposited into your paypal account immediately! I like that idea!

So go ahead and add the 125x125 widget to your blog and see what kind of cash you can receive. I like the fact that others can tell what you've made to keep it honest.

Hi All,

Well you may have noticed some changes around here! I've got a new theme! This one is a bit more flexible than my old one. I've been spending the last couple of days organising it. I'll continue to make changes over the next little while as well until it's perfect!

This week and next week I'll be temping in an office trying to collect a bit of extra cash for the holiday I'm taking in 1.5 weeks! Should be exciting and I'll make sure to take photos and put them up here when I return.

You may have noticed I've had to temporarily disable the members section of this site. Apparently when people were trying to register it would not allow it. I am not sure what is wrong, but I'm looking to fix it. Stay tuned for that!

Also, my goal for the week is to separate all my entries so far into categories so that it is easier to find the information! Unfortunately I don't know how to do that unless I go back through each entry and sort them. Still need to figure out how to display it as well! A bit a of a challenge, I like that!

A few weeks ago I purchased the $7 Secrets ebook and it has been sitting around on my shelf for a little while. I finally got into and it is actually quite good!

I decided to buy it because it was so cheap at $7 and sounded excellent. I know sometimes you need to spend a bit of money to make money. I was in a bit of an ebook buying phase at the time (which has slowed down a bit now as I'm going through them one by one). Since I've investigated this product a bit more, what I've found is that it is much more than just an ebook! It's a whole new concept in promoting your own products. It's a perfect thing for bloggers or anyone looking to monetize their sites.

This ebook allows you to get 100% commission on each resale you make! You also receive an affiliate script/dashboard software with the book that allows you to create other ebooks and sell them using the script in the same way you would sell $7 Secrets. You can resell them for any price but as you'll read in the book, lower is sometimes better.

What I am trying to say is, the great thing about this book is that there are two options you can pursue (both included in the $7 price tag):

1. Create your own affiliate program with ebooks or information products that you create and sell youself through your own sites.
2. Sell the $7 Secrets ebook and keep the $7 for yourself.

Here is a quote from the $7 Secrets website "Seriously, for just $7 I'll teach you the method I used to sell hundreds of copies of one of my reports in only 7 days, earning more than $3,000 in that short period of time. People seem to love this idea. It's highly affordable and there is virtually no customer service required. It's a great idea if you have a blog and want to get some extra cash. I do recommend doing a post about it like I am as that way it will be more visible than just the banner. You can also make a splash page and promote it on LinkReferral and TrafficEra. I'll be doing both of those next week (or on the weekend if I get around to it – so beat me to it).

I highly suggest you to get your own copy and read it twice.

The $7 Secrets ebook allows even beginners make money immediately via PayPal. It delivers the product to your readers/customers automatically and instantly after you’ve been paid.

For such a cheap price I just had to check it out and I'm not disappointed at all! In fact it's spurred me on to continue finding new information products and writing about them!

Well if you have read my previous post on LinkReferral you will know that I have been spending time trying to find good ways to get traffic to my site.

Of course, Entrecard has been wonderful, but it is also very time consuming! I definitely will stick around there, I just need more traffic! Don't we all?

Now I just found Traffic Era a few hours ago and all I can say is WOW!

It is another credit generating traffic site like Entrecard and LinkReferral and although both of those are excellent, this one is also excellent!

The more traffic the merrier!

It's only been a few hours and I'm already addicted to it!

Let me explain how it works:

You 'surf' sites in their framed tool bar. For each second you stay on the site you receive 1 credit. You stay 10 seconds to get 10 credits. In the frame on the top you then need to confirm you've seen the site by clicking the corresponding number. If you like the site you can bookmark it to view later (or now).

It's a great idea for splash pages and other sites that I have, but I'm also trying it out on this site. With the FREE Silver package you get to add up to 3 sites you want to advertise. I've listed this site and two others I have.

It took me 6 minutes (maybe 10) to get the 300 credits I needed to start directing traffic to all 3 of my sites (minimum is 100 credits - at 1 credit a second, it takes you just under 2 minutes).

It sounds a bit confusing but they have excellent tutorials and it's all explained and becomes more clear as you try it.

If you want more traffic to you site and you are finding advertising hard to do, then definitely try out Traffic Era!
