Ditch Adsense! New moneymaker is Online Business Centers!

    Hi All!

I have been frustrated with adsense over the last few months. I have now taken it off my site completely. I agree that is does a good job targeting ads however people just seem to be reluctant to click. I might click on an adsense ad once a week or two if it catches my attention, but usually I just ignore them. There are too many other good links to click on when I visit other sites!

Even large sites these days do not make the majority of their income from adsense. You need massive amounts of traffic to even make $100 a month. Personally, with the demographics of the visitors I am currently receiving, adsense is definitely not the right product to be advertising on my ‘valuable real estate’.

So, what do I do instead?

Well, I have been looking at options completely different to the pay per click avenues that I am used to. I have noticed that there are many online multi-level marketing opportunities being advertised these days.

When I say online multi-level marketing, I am really trying to describe a type of system where you sell a product and receive a commission or full sale value. You also always receive an Online Business Centre (OBC) with the purchase. An OBC as a minimum includes an affiliate link and a statistics tracking area.

An important point to note about OBC’s is that there is always an initial outlay. The price is usually in the range of $1 to $999 where normal commission ranges from 50% to 100% on any sale.

I have placed Online Business Centers into three main categories or levels:

    1. Mini OBC
    2. Mid OBC
    3. Max OBC

A Mini OBC is a system where following the submission of your name, email and payment, you receive a link to download your product. You also usually receive a username and can login to view your product sale stats and obtain link and banner advertising material to use. This is the simplest type of OBC system and usually costs $1 and $20.

My Mini OBC - $7 Dollar Secrets

A Mid OBC is larger than a Mini OBC, but smaller than a Max OBC. Like the Mini OBC, you also submit your name, email and payment to receive a download link and login info. However, in this case you receive a much more complex system. With this type of OBC, you usually receive a large selection of marketing tools including many pre-made graphic and text ads. There is a comprehensive tracking system including campaign management (the ability to track where visits are originating) and the ability to export leads in order to build a relationship. In a system like this, you also usually receive an excellent quality ebook or software (or combinations of both). A bonus is the ability to place your affiliate codes from other affiliate programs (like clickcash) into the backend of your OBC so they will transfer to your sub-affiliates. This type of system usually costs between $20 and $999.

My Mid OBC – The Renegade Network Marketer

A Max OBC is actually a business you run from your home. It is more a form of network marketing than an affiliate scheme. The good thing though is, unlike Amway and other offline network marketing companies, it is all done online and on the phone (no coffee shop, hotel or home meetings!). With a Max OBC, you can register for a government business number (named different in different countries), and that can have significant tax benefits.

With this type of OBC system, you should receive strong support from your upline and there is usually modular training you can complete at your own pace. You receive a website where potential business partners register to receive more information. You contact them via the telephone and send them the requested information which they then watch or read. If they like the idea, great, if not move on!

The best thing is that this can all be done from your home office!

This type of OBC is for someone who enjoys the lifestyle that being your own boss and working from home brings and want to take the next step to run a business and not just a blog. You are usually expected to buy a certain amount of products each month, but that can be easily canceled out with new business partners. You would usually only pay for the product for the first month.

    My Max OBC – ILoveThisJob.net

The reason I believe that OBC’s work is because people have invested their hard earned money and believe in the product. It is not just any old affiliate link. It is something you have purchased not signed up free to promote.

I believe if you are trying to make a living online, that you need to take advantage of all three OBC systems in order to get maximum revenue for your efforts. Ideally, the plan may be to sell system one, continue relationship, sell system two, kindle the relationship, and then sell system three.

No! I say develop the system! But if that fails (or while you are developing), get experience!

    Which OBC are you?

    • Mini OBC
    • Mid OBC
    • Max OBC

Thanks! There are so many systems out there, I need to investigate a few more, trial and error I guess! But the ones I posted here are working well so far!

I've been looking for alternatives to Adsense. I never click on adsense, I don't know why, but it doesn't appeal to me. I'll be checking the OBC's out. Thanks!
